According to the state-media agency, it has been a peaceful day in that little region in Western China. No fanfare, no ticker-tape parades. All I hear is how very upset Tibetans are at the Dalai Lama cuz he tells lies all the time. Things seem to be peachy in Lhasa; in fact, the airport is now displaying a doll called the Tibetan Barbie. Not sure how keen Mattel is on the idea.

you know what's so sad? we barely heard anything about this here because the media's too busy reporting about the octomom and their new digs.
