Arrived back to Beijing after a four-day trip to Hong Kong to a notice on my "apartment" (read: dorm) door. It says that the "hot water pipes have been blocked seriously." During the repair, the notice asks:1. Do not use hot water
2. If the running water is not clear or bubbles form, please stop using and inform the attendants in this building.
3. During this period some fumes will be caused; pleas keep the windows open.
Good to know. I'll be sure to keep my mouth closed when showering.

I remember a few times at Monte Cengio getting notices that we shouldn't drink the tap water. Maybe it's a Dorm thing.
