Having traveled around a bit, I've been -in general- mildly underwhelmed with most of China's travel destinations. This weekend, however, I was completely floored by the awe-inspiring, fu**-me, holy sh**-mother-of-god, spectacularness of the Huangshan mountain range in Anhui province in southeast China. My friend and I hiked up and around Huangshan, which is known for it's unique jagged peaks and pine trees and has been the inspiration of all classical Chinese paintings. It's one of these places where my lameass Canon point-and-shoot photos insult the beauty and power of this place. My apologies to Mother Nature.

Looks beautiful! I'm glad you got to check it out. And, glad you didn't fall down one of those scary cliffs.
