A cry for help

Dear China,
I'm worried that you may have an addiction problem, an addiction to silver iodide. In the past twelve days you've shot up more than 300 doses of this chemical to induce rain and snow. Two weeks ago we had the earliest snow storm in 22 years; and then this week, you did it twice making it snow more than nine inches.

I know it must be thrilling for you to be able to control the weather system: blanket a city with a heavy snowfall, wreak havoc on roads, delay flights, and cancel classes. But no one is sure of the long-term effects of weather manipulation. When you started tinkering with it two weeks ago, you patted yourselves on the back, but then you started getting criticisms and now you're lying about it. This is not a good sign. The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem.

Look, I'm no scientist, but it just doesn't seem normal, you know? Mother Nature will get back at you when you hit rock bottom so I thought I'd mention it now because I'm your friend and I want to help.
