Saluting eunification

In the outskirts of Beijing sits the Eunuch Culture Museum. Everything you ever wanted to know about eunuch culture can be found next to the tomb of Tian Yi, a beloved eunuch of the Ming Dynasty who served three emperors in a row. The Museum gave a detailed explanation of the eunuch-making process complete with a rather large diorama and replica knife so you don't have to use your imagination. In the eunuch-making process, the eunuch-maker would tie up the poor bastard's package and string it up to the ceiling. Once the package was lifted up, then the procedure began. Depending on the customs of the dynastic period, either the entire package- the whole kit and caboodle- got whacked or just part it.

That diorama is going to give me nightmares. Look at his face! And why does his junk look so eager to be cut off?
