"Large" dogs are not permitted to live within the 5th ring road. In other words, if your dog is taller than a foot, then you and your dog can't live within about 10km of central Beijing. On my way to the hike yesterday, I spotted this cutie in the suburbs of the city. Her name in Chinese means "little bear.

This dog is so cute that I look at the photo just for a little burst of happiness!
Can we please go see Little Bear when I come visit you? Can I bring her home?
