The joys of squatting
It's just so efficient. Say you get on the subway and you can't find an empty seat. What do you do?

Is squatting any more comfortable than just standing upright? I only ask because I don't think I've popped a squat since I was 6 or 7 to play a game of jacks. My thighs, hamstrings and knees will not cooperate.
I like a good squat from time to time. Feels good to stretch out the lower back after standing upright. But then again, squatting is part of my culture, too.

i think you have to be born into it. squatting is part of my culture, so i can do it too. it's just not pretty.
I would have liked to have seen more of that in NY. Did he spring up at every stop, or did people just go around him?
