Nine Eye Tower

Went on an insane, break-neck hike this weekend. We drove out almost two hours to climb up 1200 meters to Nine Eye Tower on Flame Mountain (yeah) near a remote, unrestored part of the Great Wall. Climbs were glute-busting steep and rugged, terrain was rough, as we scrambled up and down our way past wild cherry blossoms growing on the Wall. It was, however, the perfect antidote to a long Beijing week.
