Spent the weekend in Singapore attending a friend's wedding. Beijing has turned me into a feral creature, completely out of place in the highly civilized society of Singapore. Upon arrival, I ruthlessly shoved and elbowed my way through baggage claim to pick up my suitcase. Some guy turned to me and snapped, "you COULD say 'excuse me!'" Oops. Later I was twice scolded by cab drivers for not fastening my seat belt. (This pic is of the view from my friend's home in Thomson.) Toto, we're not in Beijing anymore.

yeah, Chinese people are so rude.
