I imagine it was as much of a "burrito" as the nachos I had in Australia--chopped tomatoes and onions, with stale, bagged corn chips and some funky Australian cheese--no cilantro, no garlic, no peppers....ick!
Maybe you gotta think of it like a Boca Burger...if you don't think that it's supposed to taste like meat, you'll like it more.
Honestly, No one who knows you is going to feel sorry for you. You brought that shit on yourself. This whole Chinese experience is turing into an episode of Bizarre Foods. The burrito looks liked canned stew in a flatbread. You know you wouldn't eat it if you were back in the states.

Not sure which I'd rather eat: that Chinese burrito, or the ugly dessert from yesterday's pic. I think I'll just stick with the donkey hot pot. : )

So, just think of it as a curry wrap! ;)
damn you're desperate to eat that.
I won't tell you where Laura, Lisa, Sapna, and Julie and I had lunch yesterday...La Salsa! It was pretty good--and you do have our sympathies!!
Seems to me that if it's curry wrapped in a flat bready thing, it's called a Roti. I suppose decent bao bing is hard to come by in Mexico City.
