In celebration of the election, a group of American friends and I gathered at TGIFriday's Beijing last night for a good ol American meal (our options included Hooter's and Sizzler).

Does it taste like a TGI Friday's in the States? The election party you were at was on NPR. I listened for your voice in the background noise, but it was a little tough to discern.
Do they import slutty American girls to work at Hooters or do a lot of Chinese girls get implants?
Did you get to have some nachos, quesadillas, etc.?...
I had a bacon cheeseburger and margarita. We shared nachos, chicken wings, and deep fried mac-n-cheese fritters.
I've been told that the Hooter's girls in Beijing put on a little show a la Coyote Ugly. They sing along and dance to YMCA. Very creepy but I'm sure there's plenty of expat men who spend plenty of time there.
Wow, bacon cheeseburger, chicken wings and deep-fried mac-n-cheese...Triple Treat? (Or is is Triple Threat?) All are definite comfort food staples...sounds good!
