My computer is home -- healthy and happily perched on my lap. It's been a long week so I'll spare you the details of my recent ER visit to an expat hospital at midnight because of an allergic reaction to some bug bites that swelled up my legs. The ER doc asked me, before handing over a prescription for steroids, "Are you an athlete? Involved with the Paralympics?"

Oh my God is it those "jiggers" (chiggers) that got you that time in Virginia?!?!?! I'm so sorry!! I remember those so well!!!
Oh no, did it cause elephantiasis or something? How big did your leg swell up that the doctor would think you're part of the paralympics?
I think it was those same Virginia jiggers, but since I'm in China, I think they're called Chiggers! :) Get it? Get it?
Pussy blistery mess all over my leg. And it swelled up my ankles. Yuck! Bring on the Deet!!
