Oh no you didn't
I was browsing the English-language section of a bookstore in town. Next to travel guides and dictionaries, I found a book called, "Romeo and Zhu Yingtai." It is, in short, a phrasebook of pick-up lines specifically geared for Western guys to use on Chinese women. It covers everything from cheesy openers ("would you like to go to Fragrant Hills with me?") to conversational phrases when meeting her parents to the marriage proposal. Here's the description:"Whether you’re romancing the woman of your dreams or simply picking up that hot girl at the bar, you don’t want to miss Romeo and Zhu Yingtai. Introducing suave pick-up lines and quick-witted rejections, this book is stuffed with more than 400 popular Chinese expressions that portray the great insight and passion that is the definition of love."
I know, I know... you're waiting for some sassy quip from me. But, to be honest, I'm so annoyed that I'm actually at a loss for words.

post some of the "quick-witted rejections"!!
you left out the part that says it's 'accompanied by vivid and graceful illustrations......'
it's not really anonymous, i just cant' figure out how to put my damn name on the post.
Sounds like you're finding your way around town, what with the bookstore and massage joint visits. Can you imagine the future of a marriage where the husband has to use a book to propose in the first place? Where's the book for after getting married?
