LA County Dept of Health Services Rating: C

Tsinghua offers around 16 eating establishments-- everything from wait-staff-and-white-linen-napkin restaurants to dark, dingy, and dank canteens-- offering cuisine from nearly every province. I went to check out this one place that my students swear is the best. It's like a really large food court with questionable hygiene practices and Soviet decorating sensibility. Smiling mugshots of all the food service workers greet you at the entrance. Nice touch.
(Apologies for my bad videotaping skills).

It looks better hygiene-wise, decor-wise and taste-wise than any Chinese restaurant I've been to within a 60 mile radius of Durham, NH! Plus, the nice servers are wearing masks!

"Harboring Vermin" is the term the County usually uses that gets you a "C", if I remember correctly...

Is it anything like the Mensa??

the food looked fine—I just got a little queasy from the Dogma-style shaky camera technique.

Hey, why don't you speak on your videos!!? It would be great to hear your voice: English, Mandarin, Russian - it doesn't matter. Hm... maybe you've developed one of those thick accents ........

The wall of photos of the employees is awesome! I prefer it immensely to the images you shared from the art gallery.

Why do folks in China wear a mask, if it only covers their mouth, and not their nose? Doesn't that only cover half the problem?
